I tend to be very organized when it comes to my diabetes supplies, but there are marked exceptions:

For some reason I always tear into a new box of reservoirs or infusion sets like a caffeinated squirrel.
I mean, is there another way to open these boxes?
No, there is no other way. This is the only way.
Give it to your oldest. They will find several ways to open these boxes, and one might even be right.
Give it to Birdy. See how she opens it.
I do that, too! The stickers they seal them closed with are confounding, and cartridge/set changes are done like a pit stop in the Indy 500 over here!
My daughter is grown and on her own, so I’ve become a recovering serial “pump supply box killer.” Through the years I’ve refined my technique from that of a crazed person mumbling epithets about the obviously mean-spirited engineer that designed the packaging to that of slightly less crazed person who slices the top’s fold and tape seal with my big kitchen knife to maximize the opening and minimize the confetti.
