The game is pretty simple: a blue, plastic board with a bunch of pieces cut out, and a series of yellow pieces that each fit into their specific spaces.  Then you set a timer, scramble to fit each yellow piece into its spot before the timer buzzes, and try not to twitch from the stress.

Oh, did I mention that the whole board is spring-loaded, which means that when the timer goes off, the whole board goes flying up into the air and the pieces go frigging everywhere?  Yes.

This, to me, is diabetes;  attending to the minutiae of the diabetes to do list every day, knowing it might blow up in your face at any moment, but keeping your head straight and your hope high.  We still keep at it, despite the challenges.

Perfection is not the goal.  Pushing towards and maintaining good health?  There it is.
