  2. Accuracy will always matter because lives depend on it. Personally, it matters to me because I want to see my son grow up and have a long, happy and healthy life.

    As an insulin dependant diabetic, I understand the need for accurate safe test strips. As an employee in a medical manufacturing facility, I also understand that the more accurate the product, the more it costs. If test strips are 5 times more accurate, but cost 5 times as much, are you willing to reduce the number of times you test to 1/5th of the number of times you test today? That could be the outcome.

    • Your perspective is so valuable because you really do see both sides, from the trenches, so to speak. I’m all for strips becoming more accurate, but the Strip Safely campaign is anchored in protecting people from strips that may not be meeting current regulatory standards.
