Really well put.
Your 8's sound great.

I recommend Sue Miller's 'The Senator's Wife.' It is a great book.
- Maura

Things you say #3 - I cannot find a single pen on my desk and have told my boss I am going to start wearing one around my neck!

Books #2 - My first introduction to that book was my friend reading me the chapter where he talks about his lisp - with a lisp! It was awesome!

I was wondering when I was going to see this pop up ;) I found it difficult, but I had to tag you, because I knew your answers would be worth reading :)

Trying to get through "Reading Lolita in Tehran" at the moment myself...just never seem to have time anymore. What happened to all those languid hours alone with a book...?!

I cannot listen to Meet Virginia without feeling a sense of distinguishment and adventure. One of my all time faves.

Kelly - Thanks!

Maura - Great suggestion. I have a whole list of books I am definitely going to read after the wedding is over. :)

Sara - Re: the lisp - HA!! I love his writing. And I have a whole box of pens that I open at the beginning of each month, and by the 18th of the month, I can't locate a single one.

Courtney - Thanks for the meme! And sorry it took me so damn long to post.

Kathy - I have no clue what's happened to my free time, but I miss bookin' it.

Chris - They played Sweet Virginia live at the Bowery a few months back. It was awesome. They are just too cool.

If you're looking for a good place to go for wine in Italy, Assisi has a fantastic place to eat, Hotel Subasio. I went there this past summer, and the wine is very good, but the view is worth going to the place alone.

Anyway. :)

2. Visit Europe?
You are welcome! If you, by any chance, are going ti visit Bulgaria, I'll be glad to ivite you to stay with us.

I read Glass Castle recently too. As sad and disturbing as it was, I thought it was beautiful how she wrote with such love for her family. You don't sense bitterness or self-pity or a demand for wrongs to be made right. And that is very striking. It also left me with lots of unanswered questions and a different perspective on poverty in America.

Damien Rice's The Blower's Daughter is one of my favorite songs too... unfortunately my voice cracks when I try to hit that high note on: "I can't take my eyes off of you"

You've already made a difference.
